Throwback Thursday - Get to the back of the bus

Riding the bus to school was actually pretty sick back in the day. You would walk a hundred yards or so to the bus stop, wait there with a couple of kids, usually one honeydip who was rocking a pink lunch pale and a phat ass. Then as soon as you got on the bus you headed straight to the back and sat in that half seat. The farther back from the driver you got the cooler you were. Oh and that mirror webcam they had on those buses, was clearly a fake out.
If you wanted to be a baller, you had to at least get yelled at once a week by the driver for having your window below the half way line. I had that shiz below the line all the time for maximum air flow and to show that no one tells me what to do. Last but not least emergency exit drills when you go out the back of the bus, I was always a helper, mostly because the hoes loved using my shoulders to aid their jump.

For about 5 straight years, we had an old Vietnam Vet named Leo as our bus driver. He was like 80 and super cranky. Everytime someone acted the slightest bit out of line (according to him), he'd make them sit in front of the bus. Usually he'd randomly pick someone who he thought was up to no good. Fortunately, the fact that I had a bowl cut and weighed about 70 pounds made me look the most unassuming.

I remember my first bus ride in Texas. The school was so big it was split into 8th-9th at one school and 10th-12th at the other. I got on the bus and walked straight to the back out of instinct. The other guys on the bus were cool with it... I think they sensed my confidence of belonging in the back of the bus... but I was 4'11" and 90lbs and they thought I was an 8th grader. Ouch.

Hahaha, that line that some shakey handed, cat lady drew on there? Classic!

If you were hilarious and wanted to get the most out of your back of the bus experience on field trips, you tormented the car driving behind you.

I was 75 lbs., 4'10". I'm confused, are we supposed to be saying that?
