MJ Right Now

My roomates and I got into a heated debate (again). This one involving Michael Jordan. If he were playing right now in this NBA season what would he avg in PPG? I don't want to give away what I thought and my roomates thought but we were not on the same page.

*MJ is 49 and turns 50 in a month

No more than 5 PPG, most of which come on the FT line

a 49 year old man, even MJ, not only couldn't start on a roster, but couldn't get more than a few buckets a game. Plus, you know everyone's playing lockdown D on him. I think 6ppg is where I'm at.

He's crafty now. I'd say 7 to 9 points per.

Still got the fadeaway (which can't be blocked) and will not only get superstar calls but would get legendary calls from the ref. Easy 15 PPG.

I am with the last comment. Best ever wouldn't settle for anything less than 15!

Depends on so much, if he's playing for a shitty team and he can put up 20 shots a game he averages 15 per, playing for a good team, 8-10 ppg, but no way he can play every night. Once per week I bet he could still light it up if he's in shape. Put him on the block, extended wing/below the elbow and he'll go to work with jab steps, fadeaways, all mid rage jumper game.

If he plays for the Grizz now that Gay is gone...28.9 ppg. You toss him with Harden down in the dirty south Tex....19.4 either way he gets buck wild simply because he cares and 84% of the NBA does not anymore...nuff said
